The drafts of yesterday may have considerable emotional weight, yet sometimes they are the most important factor of setback in a present situation.
When the only reason you carry on with a plan is that you started it, when you hate every minute you spend on a project, especially one that doesn’t fulfill you in any way, you may consider starting over, making a change of attitude and/or of project, jotting down a new draft.
Letting go is not easy when you’ve invested much time, effort, and ego, but it might be just what you need. If the effect of your endeavors is unsatisfactory, stop fueling the causes, make adjustments.
A draft is a draft – it isn’t always correct, nor is it ever complete. It is disposable by definition. Focus on the goal your draft serves, don’t sacrifice your goal for an inefficient draft you refuse to throw away.

Full of meaning! You should be thanked for such a beautiful post, I thank you. It touched my heart and soul forever,
. Letting go is not easy indeed when ego and time were invested.
Agreed, nice post.
It's amazing what people can do with so few words. It's a good metaphor for life too. I am currently looking to start a new draft in my life, so thanks for bringing some perspective. Appreciated.
Thank you both! Good luck and inspiration in everything you do!
